Wouldn’t it be cool if when we docked, we got an “Empty Cargo” button? Similar to the “Loot All” except opposite—it automatically dumps everything from your cargohold into your Item Inventory in station. No dragging and dropping required.
Then, what if we could ‘lock’ certain items in our cargo hold? Like specific ammo, boosters, scripts, etc., before we even undocked to kill people? The items would still work as usual, only they wouldn’t be emptied when you click “Empty Cargo.”
This would make me happy.

Freaking excellent idea not quite sure why no one else has thought of it.
ReplyDeletePersonally I'd like to be able to contract stuff from my hold, and have it dumped into the current station.
ReplyDeleteOnly if we could lock Giant storage containers into our holds, but still empty each one on the "dump all" command.
ReplyDeletedumping each can from inside a fully expanded orca is a pain in the neck
Why not go a little further and set a minimum number of ammo/mod or whatever to the hold/ship, so each time you go to undock it automatically fills the cargo of say 2000 rep fleet emp and 200 nano paste??
ReplyDeleteWould be fucking über.
^^ And a auto repair box to tick, so you no longer undock with your mwd burnt out, you could maybe select auto repair mods or ship individually, so you don't waste millions repping a carrier that your playing station games with.
DeleteThat is a very good idea indeed. +lots.
ReplyDeleteExcellent idea. There are many simple touches like this that CCP seems to overlook.
ReplyDeleteIf they would just allow the cargo and rigs to be included in the fitting system you could empty cargo and then fit your ship again - topping off ammo etc.
